I wanted to do this painting for a long time and taken several photos of the old barn that used to stand in Flower Mound, Texas. This is an original oil painting by Ruth  Housley.  It has been torn down and houses built where it used to stand.  This old barn had lots of character and I wanted to put it on canvas and add a big Oak tree that stood  near the barn.  There was an old fence partially torn down and I wanted to add that as well.  

This painting is on a 16x20 cotton canvas and done in oil medium and original.
