I had fun doing this lady painting. I have always liked long dresses and especially ball gowns. They even wore the long gowns in the civil war days.  This is an original oil painting by Ruth Housley.

I wanted to practice my figurative/portrait techniques that I learned years ago. I will probably be doing another lady painting soon.
