I have finished another figurative painting and had fun doing this as I did the last one of an elegant lady.  I have been thinking about doing some portraits as well.  This is an original oil painting by Ruth Housley. 

I want to practice my techniques of doing features of the face as well as hands in my figurative work..  I enjoy painting ladies with long dresses or long full skirts. 

I painted her dress green since this week is St. Patrick's Day.
