I studied art when I was in my thirties at the University of New Mexico at the Grants branch in 1981-82.  I also studied with Joyce Lazo, Jo Ellen's Galleries both of Lewisville, Texas.  I continued my art studies with Michelle Graham and Colonnie both in Carrollton, Texas.  Workshops with Pat Pierce, Sherman, Texas, Will Lassen, and Jonee Paul in Denton, Texas.  Studied with Joseph (Jerry) Yarnell with his books, tapes as well as viewing him on PBS for many years.  I also took a workshop with Jerry and it was on Composition, Design, and Perspective as well as color mixing.  Studied with Quinten Gregory by listening to his instructional tapes as well as reading his books.
