"The Last Supper"
A friend asked me in September 2007 if I would consider painting "The Last Supper" for her. She said it would be on a 36x24 canvas. I thought about it and she told me she would be honored if I did it instead of her getting someone else to do this painting. I told her I would do but it was a big project. It was challenging and very frustrating at times but it was finished successfully and that is what counts. I am glad that I did do it in the long run because it did stretch me as an artist to get out of my comfort zone and do something that I have never did before. This took me about three months but the friend that wanted the painting was not in a big hurry. Doing this painting was a learning experience for me.
Looking straight at the painting the names of the deciples are starting at the far left: Barthalameu, James (younger), Andrew, Judas, Peter, John, Jesus in the center, Thomas, James (elder), Phillip, Matthew, Thaddeus, and Simon.
