Alyson B. Stanfield, Art Biz Coach

Alyson's website has very helpful information for artists.  She has a lot of information for artists about marketing your art.  She also has a newsletter that she sends out weekly.  I did purchase her book "Id Rather Be In The Studio".   I am learning a lot from her book.

Connie Tom's Art Website

Check out Connie's art and see that she has some beautiful artwork and is blessed.  Her artwork has very luminous colors and is beautiful.  She wrote an article recently for Clint's Fine Art Views and was very interesting.  I enjoyed reading it so much. 


Dalhart Windberg Gallery

Dalhart Windberg is a has been a professional artist for many years.  In 1979 he was given a high honor from the Texas Legislature which pasted an act by naming him Artist of Texas.  He grew up near Goliad, Texas.  He has two biographical books published about him as an artist and his work.  In  1979 he formed his own art publishing company  as Windberg Enterprises, Inc.  It has a network of over 1,000 print dealers.   

I admire his work and have for many years.  If you are ever in the Georgetown area go by his gallery and view all of his art. 

I did go to to the Dalhart Gallery in Georgetown a few years ago when we went to Fredericksburg and stopped there on the way back home.

Nita has useful tips, techniques, and exercises  and primarily speaks to Watercolorists.  She does say that any artist that wants to learn more about color should take a peek at this website.

Joseph Yarnell Art

I have seen Joseph Yarnell on PBS  TV for many years until they took him off of PBS for the Dallas metroplex.  He has been doing art for many, years and I admire his work and enjoy viewing all his work on his website.  If you are in the area around Tulsa go by and see his artwork and studio.  He does travel across the US doing workshops.

I had a viewer of my art on Goggle Blogger at my site at RuthHousley.blogspot.com/ put reviews of my artwork that I have there also. 
I had some rated ten and this viewier said quote:  "The artwork is very capitavating and looks real.  It makes one feel like being part of the picture  This is a very talented artist.  The colors on this site also compliment very well with the artwork.  I will definitely visit this site often."

I also had some other viewers comment on my blogspot and said:  nicely done, nice website, interesting and particularly like the Southwest artwork, excellent work, beautiful colors, heart warming, very beautiful artwork, and attractive artist's blog.  One viewer said that they ususally don't like black backgrounds but mine worked well and shows the paintings to good effect and the paintings were classy looking.


Midland Gallery/ Larry Dyke

I admire Larry Dyke's work and I have for many years.  I did see some of his work at the Whistle Pik Gallery in Fredericksburg, Texas when we visited there a few years ago.  You may want to browse his website at the Midland Gallery and see his artwork. I also admire when he puts scripture with his paintings.

Oil Painters of America is a yearly membership for oil painters.  They have a lot of helpful information and let you know when they have their juried shows. I am a member and have been for a couple of years.
